Structures and components for vehicle seats

Increasing comfort remains a central aspect in vehicle development. Yet our customers expect even more: solutions designed to reduce weight, to provide a high level of crash safety and to support their platform strategy with a substantial proportion of standardized components.

We use identical gear housing, adjusters and drive units worldwide to achieve economies of scale. Annually, approx. 40 million components produced in-house are used.

These standard components are constantly being adapted to meet customer specifications. Using an intelligent material mix of high-strength steel, aluminum alloys and fiber-reinforced plastics, we have reduced the weight and costs of seat systems, even of complex ones, but not to the detriment of safety and functionality.
