Your Job Specification

  • Conduct repair and maintenance work on company equipment and facilities
  • Perform planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment is kept in good working condition and ready for production at high levels of efficiency with no failures
  • Support production team to ensure the minimum down time for the assembly lines. The (Break down process) defines the responsibilities and process than must be followed to ensure that all aspects relating to breakdowns and customer product quality is addressed
  • Complete the breakdown job card data and sign off together with the relative persons
  • Comply with maintenance administrative responsibilities at all times
  • Note any deviations from the electrical COC and initiate the necessary actions to update the COC

Your Profile

  • Grade 12 / Standard 10
  • Qualified artisan
  • Min 3 years in a maintenance function
  • Computer literacy in all MS Office applications
  • Automotive quality and environmental standards
  • English (read, write and speak)
  • Strong level of electrical fault finding skills
  • Previous use of workshop equipment advantageous (Lathe, Milling Machine etc.)
