Industrial Engineering Lead

Your Job Specification

  • Support production teams in ensuring project budgets, quality goals and production targets are met
  • Manage the Optimization team to set targets, manage milestones and develop strategy to optimize shop floor processes
  • Support internal teams, customer teams and central industrial engineering during the concept development process for the industrialization of customer projects (assembly sequence, plant layout, value stream, P-FMEA)
  • Ensure Brose specs are realized on all projects internal and external
  • Support the manufacturing equipment procurement process through organizing the equipment specification approval process within the plant. Includes plant participation of plant personnel in project meetings as well as supplier visits for equipment buy off.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering function at Brose. Or more than10 years in similar capacity within the automotive industry
  • Proven Leadership skills
  • MTM 1 and MTM Standard-Data
  • ProKon (Design for Manufacturing)
  • Project management
  • Manual assembly, welding, riveting, fastening, automation, EOL testing, and e-coating
