Core Engineer - Doors

Your Job Specification

  • Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Technical responsibility for the entire project (i.e. window assemblies, door modules, seat adjusters, latches, or motor drives). Ensure communication, coordination and activities with customers, customer team members and central functions as a technical project leader. Major contact to the customer concerning engineering issues.
  • Conduct and develop cost-efficient module concepts with an engineering team
  • Plans and implements engineering programs, activities and milestones, per customer requirements
  • May develop and maintain a schedule and budget for the assigned engineering project
  • May provide reports on the status of project milestones and adjust schedules accordingly

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 3-4 years related experience and/or training in engineering within the automotive industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
