Logistics Manager

Your Job Specification

  • Responsible for all logistic processes and logistics flow in Plant Gothenburg (Torslanda)
  • Active part of leadership in the plant as member of the Management group, contributing to reach plant vision and strategies
  • Establish and maintain an effective logistic team and create targets and objectives for the team and individuals as well as monitoring the achievement of targets and objectives
  • Assure deliveries on time and support the production through highest service level, fast detection and elimination of the breakdown causes from a logistics point of view
  • Assure an efficient logistics flow and the highest availability of the equipment at the lowest cost
  • Material scheduling and drive planning process for customer projects in cooperation with central functions
  • Responsible for stockrange, transportation costs incl. premium freight. Responsible for housekeeping on the shop floor
  • Responsible for necessary logistics regulations regarding work place environment, health & safety and environmental protection

Your Profile

  • Work experience with focus on logistics processes/ technology in automobile/ supplier industry preferable in JIS environment
  • University or College degree in Logistics or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years professional experience in the logistics field or affiliated area, whereof at least 3 years in a management position (preferable in the automotive industry)
  • Methods eg.: project work, planning and optimization procedures
  • Systems: SAP, PC-Office
  • Good management skills, pedagogic, communicative, ability to work in team, creative, adaptive, pro-active
  • Language skills: fluently written and oral in English. Swedish and German language meritorious
