Chrysler, the American automaker, honored Brose Jefferson Inc. in Warren/Michigan with the "Supplier Launch Recognition Award" for outstanding performance. The award rating system is based on performance in the fields of design, development and production regarding the supply of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango with electric and electronic components.
In terms of development and quality, our company was rated number one by Chrysler among suppliers for electric components.
Wendi Gentry, responsible for the procurement of electrical and electronic components, presented the award to Jan Kowal, President of Brose North America, during a small ceremony staged by the Jefferson plant and attended by some 80 employees.
During her speech, Wendi Gentry thanked Jan Kowal for Brose North America's outstanding loyalty in the continuous support of Chrysler through the economic downturn in 2009.
Brose has successfully cooperated with the Chrysler Group for almost 20 years. At present, the Brose corporate group supplies the American automaker from eight plants in Europe, USA, Mexico and Brazil with seat and door systems, window regulators, cooling fan modules and HVAC blowers for a total of 16 vehicle models.
