Industrial Engineer - System Technology

Your Job Specification

  • Planning of assembly processes and procurement of assembly equipment from business acquisition to installation in production facility
  • Supporting the successful launch of new products (cost optimization, deadlines, quality) and production
  • Technological responsible for current production and engineering changes
  • Support assembly facilities with process and equipment problems. Standardize and develop new assembly technology
  • Responsible for the procurement life cycle of assembly equipment from acquisition to launch
  • Meeting the deadlines and technical requirements within a targeted budget of the project
  • Preparation of all necessary documentation (e.g. equipment specification, PFMEA, timelines) for the procurement of assembly equipment
  • Preparation of technical specifications and evaluation of supplier quotes for assembly equipment

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (optional mechanical or controls)
  • Four years of experience in Industrial Engineering within the automotive industry and mass production with emphasis on procurement of assembly equipment
  • Deep technical understanding of assembly equipment technology
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools
  • Experience with line balancing, time studies and value stream design
