Project Manager Side Door

Your Job Specification

  • The Project Manager is responsible for the overall success/condition of a specific customer project. The success or scope of the project is defined, but not limited to: meeting customer and internal project milestones (timeline); meeting profit objectives defined in approved project proposal; meeting project budgets for hours, investments and material costs as defined in project workshop; meeting agreed upon product performance requirements; meeting customer and internal quality and environmental requirements; and achieving customer satisfaction. This position will supervise the engineers that work for their specific programs and or manage multiple programs.
  • Responsible for project reporting and tracking, including attending periodic project review meetings, preparing monthly summary of project status and quarterly project status for Coburg meetings, reporting on program open issues and progress on the program timeline
  • Provide meeting support by attending and/or leading development team meetings to ensure closure of technical issues, attending and/or leading open issues meetings (as required), leading all change workshops, and attending purchasing decision meetings
  • Coordinate Brose manufacturing interface by organizing program reviews and open issues meetings, as required, and by coordinating hand-over activities
  • Manage prototype process, including customer order, component sourcing, and build plan

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Four to six years’ experience in engineering
  • Two to three years of experience in project management
