Your Job Specification

  • Responsible for RFQ process, analysis of offers and presentation in decision meeting. In accordance with the responsible commodity
  • Analyze Supplier offers and prepare (time plan, place and participants) and conduct price negotiations according to the supplier strategy within the buyers responsibilities
  • Implementation and negotiation of supplier frame work agreements (incl. call-offs), tooling contracts as well as ensuring the acceptance of placed orders
  • Handles all Serbian sourcing activities for the respective commodities within the buyer’s responsibility including demand forecasts
  • Coordination and assuring the availability of the purchased parts respecting quality, time and competitive pricing. Tooling as well as product specific automation of the respective component family is purchased in accordance with the component director
  • Continuously analyzing and identifying trends and bundling potentials within the markets environment for the respective commodities
  • Supplier workshops, demand analysis, market analysis, supplier innovation, supplier relationship management
  • Organizing and moderating technical meetings (Feasibility Study / tooling concepts, etc.)
  • Cost reduction for new purchased parts and sub-assemblies (Value analysis, value engineering, RACE)
  • Supports supply base research and strategy with counterparts and with Central Purchasing
  • Carry out safe launches at suppliers according to worked out plan in accordance with component director
  • Carry out supplier assessment according to their performance within the SAP system

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in purchasing within the automotive industry or comparable
  • Fluent in English (written/spoken)
