Logistics Team Lead

Your Job Specification

  • Provide direction to a team of supervisors across all shift rotations including Material Handlers and Administrators in each of the specific Logistics areas.
  • Monitor and control performance indicators, cost, process, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence etc in accordance with company requirements. Handle material planning duties as needed.
  • Inventory management including cycle counting process to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Manages outside service providers such as trailer providers and MHE repair and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the company including Health and Safety, Environmental and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment.

Your Profile

  • University or College Degree specializing in the field of Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • A recognized industry certification – PMAC, PLOG, CITT, APICS.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the area of Logistics including the management of a large workforce.
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for planning and optimizing logistical processes
  • Proven experience in project management.
