Your Job Specification

  • Acoustic activities for launch of new projects:
    Plans, undertakes, and analyzes acoustic development activities at the projects level according to Brose procedures and transform this into EOL settings at Plant. Responsible for initial acoustic measurements at Plant, vendors or customers. Operates with agreement from test and acoustic engineers from Brose North America.
  • Responsible for Settings of Caroline/ EOL limits for all seat and spindle drive programs in the plant, as well as series monitoring checks.
  • Issues reports, assessments and recommendations in a formal manner to test engineers at BNA.
  • Investigate (acoustic) concerns with adequate problem solving methods (eg 6-Sigma, Shainin, Ishikawa) and leads implementation of corrective actions.
  • Engage in direct customer meetings as required and agreed with test engineer / supervisor to solve acoustic concerns.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or three years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years’ experience in acoustic measurements and analysis in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of NVH test setups; Experience in Plant Quality assurance.
  • HEAD Acoustics Artemis Software, Head Recorder
  • Caroline Software( Acoustic parameter setting, Quak setting, Pulse setting, Hall sensor/Ripple sensor setting), Polytech Laser Vibrometery
