Hardware electronics test engineer

Job description

• Planning, implementation, analysis, assessment and documentation of testing activities in the field of electronic control devices in automotive
• Compilation of test plans to ensure the hardware of the electronics, in particular environmental, durability, electrical testing, including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrostatic discharge (ESD)
• Implementation and support of tests in internal and external laboratories
• Implementation of in-depth error analyzes and proposals for product optimization
• Presentation of test results internally for approval and externally to the customer
• Creating special tests and defining requirements for conceptual test designs to ensure new technology

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
• Experience in testing in the automotive industry or in automotive suppliers
• Good knowledge of environmental and automotive electronics requirements
• Expertise in the field of electronic components as well as the use of electronic schemes
• Orientation to find solutions, proactive and structured style of work
• Methodological knowledge in the field of troubleshooting (Ishikawa, five why)
• Fluent knowledge of English both verbally and in writing
