Embedded Software Engineer - Electronics

Your Job Specification

  • Develops software applications for controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic and industrial uses
  • Develop software timing charts, monitor upcoming tasks / milestones and identify delinquent items
  • Develop software requirements specifications in agreement with customer and in accordance with existing specifications (customer, supplier, and/or internally)
  • Develop and release Parameters and Calibrations for assigned projects, striving for optimized conformity for vehicle usage
  • Propose software concepts based on reuse and/or supporting synergies

Your Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience with Embedded C software development in the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with V-Model development methodology
  • Experience with analyzing system / software requirements (preferred tool for requirements management is IBM Rational DOORS)
  • Experience working with unit testing and working with debuggers (preferred tool for unit testing Tessy)
  • 2 years experience in understanding physics of moving systems and the control of motor actuated mechanical systems as it pertains to controlling them through software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Software Engineering from four-year college or university
