Maintenance Supervisor

Your Job Specification

  • Planning of the yearly budget (staff, investments, costs) and responsible for the budget, definition of corrective actions by deviations in the yearly budget
  • Daily supervision of the department services: running production equipment, providing energy, maintenance of the assembly equipment, servicing and maintaining of the material handling equipment, ordering of auxiliary equipment and auxiliary material, support of the assembly teams during breakdowns, realization of improvement proposals, support of new customer programs
  • Supervision and developing of the staff of the department, organization of the staff on a daily basis
  • Knowledge and realization of the relevant federal and state laws OSHA / safety requirements in the work area, environmental protection, training of the staff)
  • Job related supervision of the TPM groups from the assembly department
  • Support of external equipment and service suppliers. Planning and organization of rebuilding actions in the plant together with management
  • Cost effective procurement and managing of spare parts with the goal of a 100% production process protection
  • Maintaining of the environmental management system based on the federal and state laws, working in the realization of environmental topics
  • Creating of all procedures, job instructions and organization instructions for the work area
  • Proposals for job related and organization related improvements

Your Profile

  • 3 years experience as a supervisor in a maintenance department of a series production company, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Technical knowledge and skills in electric, electronic, SPS (Siemens), CNC, robot technique, mechanical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, measuring technique, power drive technique, BUS systems (ASI, Profi), HVAC/Mechanical engineering
  • Experience in highly automated production equipment
  • Experience in TPM, KAIZEN, Poka Yoke, continuous improvement
  • Supervising employees
