Plant Controller

Your Job Specification

  • Participation in the yearly budget planning processes as well as quarterly forecasts and data input of the approved figures into the related systems. Creation of commentary reports
  • Provide assistance in investment planning preparation, review, controlling and feasibility assessments for purchase of assets as well as data input into the related SAP systems. Process owner for web-based procurement requests and cost efficiency calculations for investment activities. Independent creation, analysis, and review of assigned financial reporting on a monthly basis, annual forecasts, company performance and planning
  • Ensure assigned cost calculation based on Brose guidelines (budget controlling for profit centers and determination of required changes to cost center plans, planning and controlling of hourly rates, standard costs development, creation and analysis of the rolling product calculation, the product result and cost shares, system maintenance)
  • Independent creation, analysis and reporting of the monthly plant result determining and commenting deviations in cost center budgets and process costs and preparing corrective measures. Preparation and participation in monthly target/actual meetings with department managers.
  • Driver for cost improvement activities and optimization projects. Preparation of business cases and cost efficiency calculations.

Your Profile

  • Minimum requirements are a BA in Business Administration or similar field (such as Finance, Economics, International Business, Accounting, etc.) or experience within the Brose controlling / finance departments.
  • Advanced computer knowledge including Windows Applications; SAP Applications; Advanced MS Excel
  • Work Experience of 3 to 5 year in Cost Accounting or Finance related is required.
  • Experience should concentrate on cost accounting, budgeting/planning, financial reporting, and financial analysis
  • Experience within the manufacturing environment is strongly recommended, ideally with a German automotive supplier
