Ana Simic
Process quality worker
How has your position in Brose shifted?
"Four years ago I started as a production operator. After graduating from our Quality School, I became a Process Quality Officer. Today, I oversee the entire quality assurance process for our luxury seating."
What is the scope of your current job?
"My work as an operator was mostly manual - right at the production line. Today I am involved in analysis, reporting and strategic planning. So it's a significant change."
How is the quality of luxury seating tested?
"It's a very detailed process. We carry out a series of tests and checks that must meet customer requirements and comply with strict automotive standards. Every seat has to be perfect."
What do you enjoy about your job and what do you enjoy less?
"It makes me happy to see a quality product coming off the line and know that I have contributed to its perfection. I enjoy solving complex problems, improving processes and working in a team with great colleagues. On the other hand, some routine tasks can be monotonous and deadlines can sometimes bring stress."

Jan Sklenář
Head of the Interior business division
How would you describe your role in leading the Seating Systems Division?
"I am responsible for the direction, performance and development of the 130-strong team. Every day I strive to translate vision into results and create an environment where people grow with the company."
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement over the past 10 years?
"We've built a department that is an integral part of a global organization and that delivers on long-term goals even in challenging environments. But what I appreciate most is that the team is pulling together, colleagues are communicating openly, finding solutions and supporting each other to achieve common goals."
What do you think is the key to long-term performance?
"Clear direction, trust in the team and the courage to make decisions. Performance is the result of a culture that combines accountability and consistency with respect and collaboration."
What motivates you most personally?
"Seeing people grow, surpass themselves and achieve results they wouldn't have believed before. And seeing the real impact behind it - not just on the numbers, but on the people."
What are your future plans for your division?
"I want our team to be not only efficient, but also resilient and innovative. Our immediate future has a clear priority in upcoming projects for our major customers in the location."

“What I enjoy most about my job is working with my colleagues – we’re a great team and together we build strong relationships with both long-term and new suppliers. At Brose, I really appreciate the chance to be creative and come up with new ideas. Our Ostrava office has a friendly atmosphere where we support each other and create a space that’s genuinely nice to work in. On top of the modern environment, I also value the wide range of benefits we have.”

“I’ve loved cars since I was a kid, so I’m really happy to work for a manufacturing company and be part of the production process – even if it’s more behind the scenes. When I was looking for a job, it was important for me to find a role in my field – SAP Basis – without having to work shifts. Brose made that possible, even though I was starting in a junior position. People around me warned that switching jobs might limit my growth, but the opposite happened. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to grow, and I really enjoy working in an in-house support role, where things aren’t so strictly defined – which means less stress and more flexibility.”
