Sales Intern

- Support technical and business objectives of prospective customers (ie. Cost Break Down forms).
- Provides product demos and technical reviews to qualified customers on request.
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales order documents.
- Track and monitor change management process and provide pricing proposals to project team that improve profit and can be accepted at the customer.
- Derive market prices for products based on current customer pricing and expected competition.
- Conducts updates within the sales planning tools for respective customers or product segment.
- Enters new customer data and sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Responsible for department marketing while being acutely aware of the competitive landscape. Provide proposals for new business opportunity based on competitor and market research
- Actively manages with the project team the acquisition phase including kick-off of cross-functional team discussions to gain the necessary inputs for on time quotations while managing import KPI’s.
- Maintains customer relationships.
Your Profile
- Start Date - This position is planned to start November 1, 2025, or earlier depending on availability
- In office at Auburn Hills location 3-4 days a week depending on school schedule
- Must be currently attending a college or university (Graduation year of 2027 or later)
- Able to work 20 hours per week on average during the school year/ flexible schedule
- Able to work 30-40 hours per week on average during the summer/ flexible schedule
