Industrial Engineer

Your tasks

  • Plan, engineer, and improve Brose New Boston Plant (NBO) productivity, product throughput, and worker safety using Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Six Sigma, Shainin system, and AutoCAD tool, to improve processes; analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); design Value Stream; and implement best practices, during production of automotive mechatronic seat systems including 2-8 way seats, cushion extensions, in high volume manufacturing plant environment. Assure production and delivery of seat systems on batch production bases to major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) vehicle maker and related products to Tier 1 customers. Analyze, engineer, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, applying quality assurance techniques, using SAP Quality Management (QM) module to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce failure rates and scrap costs during production of passenger vehicle seat systems.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
  • Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer or related, engineering and improving manufacturing processes, applying quality assurance techniques, using SAP Quality Management (QM) module to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce failure rates during production of seat system, or related.
