IT Monitoring Tool Expert

- Oversee the technical aspects of a technical team by making architectural and design decisions, guiding team members in technical matters, and supervising system modifications.
- Manage effectively BAU as well project activities for the Monitoring and Antivirus technology.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement optimizations and enhance overall system performance.
- Analyze monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Configure, deploy, and manage monitoring tools such as Checkmk, SCOM, WhatsUp Gold.
- Knowledge of other tools like Grafana, Splunk, Nagios etc. will be an added advantage.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time insights into the health and performance of our systems.
- Develop and maintain incident response procedures for monitoring tool related incidents.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for monitoring tools configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to empower team members with monitoring tool expertise.
Your Profile
- Leading skills to manage squad and deliver services/projects efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Monitoring Tools Architect or specialist.
- In-depth knowledge of IT monitoring architecture and tools.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Understanding application architecture, cloud/on-premises hybrid systems
- Background in Python scripting languages
- Understanding of Linux Operating System and bash scripting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Very good communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree of computer science or first professional experience in the IT infrastructure sector
- Work exp 6-8 Years
