Brose honors suppliers with Supplier Awards 2024
Brose presented the Supplier Awards again this year to recognize the outstanding collaboration between the mechatronic specialist and its suppliers. This time, a total of four suppliers were recognized for their commitment and excellent performance in the areas of innovation, quality and sustainability.
Alpas won in the category innovation for its AI-driven procurement software, which enables Brose to search for suppliers more quickly and efficiently. Instead of "Google" and time-consuming searches, the AI of Alpas does the job quickly, reliably and, above all, with unprecedented quality,
said Sven Erber, Senior Vice President Purchasing at Brose, praising the start-up company.
Two suppliers were able to shine in the quality category. The family business Craemer GmbH was honored for its high product quality and good cooperation for over 30 years. Rauh Spedition + Logistik GmbH won the award for its high adherence to delivery dates, smooth logistics processes and proactive commitment to constantly improving processes.
The aluminum supplier Speira GmbH received the award in the area of sustainability for exceeding the Brose sustainability standard. This makes an important contribution to reducing the CO2 footprint of the products.
Brose also honored two individuals for the first time this year. Maurizio Basso from CEBI and René Bouverat, known for his work at Alpes Factory and Kartesis, have been committed to good relations between Brose and their companies for over 20 years and were therefore honored with the Lifetime Award.
