Application Engineer

Your tasks

Independent testing and understanding of the technical requirements of the vehicle system, as well as the development and presentation of proposed solutions for the implementation of Brose Products
Independent definition of project-specific system requirements
Separate development of configuration for application tools and definition of application hardware for simple projects
Implementation and documentation of software system tests in projects with new functions
Setting, validation and documentation of door electronics functions (parameters) according to specifications, "application notes" including new additional functions
Independent analysis of malfunctions and complaints internally and on site at the customer's location in Europe
Preparation and implementation of parameter overviews for projects

Your Profile

Completed university studies in electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics
Basic knowledge of drive and electronic functions of adjustment systems
Basic knowledge of the product development process
Knowledge of SAP for the implementation of parameter change management
Knowledge of special database systems for uploading and downloading electronic data files
Knowledge of vector hardware and software for analysis and parameterization of control units
Fluent English
Willingness to travel
