Industrial Engineer

Your tasks

  • Plan, engineer, and improve Brose New Boston Plant productivity, product throughput, and worker safety using Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Sigma, Eight Disciplines (8Ds), 5S Method, Fishbone Diagram, and DraftSight tool, to continuously improve machines (including workstation devices and end of line testers (EOLTs)), manufacturing processes, and plant facilities. Analyze and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); design and optimize Value Stream; and implement Lessons Learned, during production of automotive mechatronic door modules including carrier plates, latches, window regulators in high volume manufacturing plant environment. Assure production and delivery of door modules on Just in Time (JIT), Just in Sequence (JIS), batch, and service parts bases to OEM vehicle maker. Develop and maintain product Bills of Material (BOMs), change masters, routings, and production versions in SAP Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Bionic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or related.
  • Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer or related, analyzing and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); designing and optimizing Value Stream; and implementing Lessons Learned, during production of automotive door modules in high volume manufacturing plant environment, or related.
