System Simulation Engineer Drives

- Perform system level simulation models for electric motor, Controller and load properties focusing on operation cycles and system efficiencies and able to judge requirements of coming emobility customers on system level.
- Development of system level simulation models with motor, Controller and load properties focusing on operation cycles and system efficiencies.
- Performing Traction drive 1D electric motor modelling, efficiency calculation, drive cycle simulation using MATLAB Simulink.
- Knowledge on technical and testing requirement during development of 2W traction electric motor.
- Performing analytical calculation for motor design based on requirement for 2W traction electric motors.
- Technical contact person to customers to negotiate and enforce the Brose's interests with the customer order request.
- Is a project team member in development meetings and represents application topics on his own responsibility?
- Creation and implementation of presentations on application topics for internal and external use.
Your Profile
- ME/M.Tech/ PHD ( Preferred) Mechanical / Electrical /Electronics).
- 4 to 5 years equivalent experience matching to JD.
- Candidate from Emobility industry is desirable who has worked on electric motors system simulation.
- Should have hands on experience in MATLAB Simulink for electric motor and motor controller modelling.
- Should be able to perform Traction drive 1D electric motor modelling, efficiency calculation, drive cycle simulation using MATLAB Simulink?
- Should have knowledge on electromagnetic simulation for electric motor using Ansys Maxwell?
- Able to do Motor and Motor controller modelling simulation, debugging and optimization with system simulation tool e.g., MATLAB Simulink.
- Should have knowledge modelling of thermal performance of electric motors. (Optional).
- Should possess hands on expertise in simulation tools e.g., openmodelica/ SimulationX (Optional).
- Experience in prototype and testing activities of 2W electric motor will be added advantage.
