In a study by the business magazine Bilanz, Brose was ranked fifth among the 100 most respected companies in Germany. In the automotive sector, the family-owned company reached the top position among car manufacturers and suppliers. The results of the study titled "Germany’s Most Admired Companies" were published on 26 October.
With a total score of 2.05, Brose was voted one of the top 5 companies with the highest reputation by 1,421 top executives. "We are delighted about the recognition of our company," states Kurt Sauernheimer, CEO of the Brose Group. "The fact that we have even achieved first place in the automotive category is both an incentive and an obligation for us. The company was owner-managed for almost 100 years. Today, committed shareholders, an external advisory board and the management work hand in hand for the success of the company. Innovative spirit, social competence and fast, qualified decisions make Brose attractive for its employees and customers".
The survey conducted by the Cologne-based analysis institute Servicevalue covered 300 companies from 16 sectors. These include all companies represented in the DAX, M-DAX, S-Dax and T-Dax stock indices, as well as family businesses and large corporations. In addition to the overall image, the company's reputation was evaluated in seven different categories: quality of corporate management, financial solidity, quality of products and services, social responsibility, quality of the supervisory board/advisory board, innovative strength and ability to attract and retain young talent. The rating was on a scale from 1 for "excellent" to 5 for "bad".
