Production Assembly Operator

- Places parts in specified relationship to each other
- General Assembly (Production Operations) as per work station specific Work Instruction’s
- Places parts in specified relationship to each other
- Clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together
- Works at different work stations to insure knowledge is obtained on all stations
- Assembly parts by using basic hand tools (screw guns)
- Follows Brose Quality Policy. Compliance with Brose safety processes and procedures.
- Considers all valid Procedures, Job Instructions, and Organizational Instructions
- Adheres to all safety regulations and implements all necessary measures for work, health, and environmental protection within the range of responsibility
- Escalates safety, quality, machine and assembly issues to team leader and/or supervisor
Your Profile
- Experience as an assembly operator in a production department of a series production company in the automotive industry
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and consistently lift 15-20 pounds
- Must be able to work in a continuous noise-producing environment
- Must be able to withstand higher temperatures on production floor Communication
- Must have the basic ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing Specialized knowledge and skills
- Experience in working with highly automated production equipment
- Experience in KANBAN, SPC, TPM, KAIZEN, Poka Yoke, continuous improvement
- Team work mentality
- Ensure compliance of quality and environmental systems to all required standards including customer specific requirements
