Dr. Philipp Schramm

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President Commercial Administration

Dr. Philipp Schramm is Chief Executive Officer of the Brose Group. In this role he is also responsible for Advanced Development and Innovations, Electronics, Sales, Communications and Marketing along with the China and North America markets. In addition he is responsible for Commercial Administration in the Brose Group and the Purchasing, Legal & Compliance and Information Technology functions.

Philipp Schramm studied business administration at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, where he also earned his PhD. He began his career in 2003 as a consultant at a Chinese company. Following other positions for example at the auditing organisation PricewaterhouseCoopers, Schramm assumed a wide range of leadership responsibilities within the Webasto Group in Germany and abroad beginning in 2010. His most recent role there was as Executive Vice President Purchasing and Supplier Quality. He switched to the Brose Group in October 2020. Schramm headed Central Purchasing before being appointed to the Executive Board as Commercial Director in March 2021, which he also chaired as of September 2023.

Bernhard Blauth

Executive Vice President Organization and Human Resources

Bernhard Blauth heads the Central Division Organization and Human Resources Brose Group.

Bernhard Blauth studied law in Münster, Lausanne and Freiburg and obtained a Master of Law in San Diego. After working as a lawyer in Frankfurt, he headed the HR and legal departments at various industrial companies, including six years at automotive supplier Preh GmbH in Bad Neustadt. From 2013 to mid-2023, Mr. Blauth was Head of Human Resources Europe Rail Vehicles at the family-owned company Knorr-Bremse in Munich. In September 2023, he moved to the Executive Board of the Brose Group.

Stefan Krug

Stefan Krug

Chief Operating Officer

Stefan Krug is responsible for the central division Production along with the global plants and Quality, Logistics, Facility Planning and Production Technology. He is also Philipp Schramm's deputy.

Stefan Krug studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He began his career with Brose in 1998 as Technical Assistant to the Executive Vice President Operations. Following a variety of leadership positions, he became general manager of the Coburg plant in 2008 and, four years later, also assumed responsibility for production in the seat systems division. As Chief Operating Officer North America, he headed up the plants in this region from 2014 to 2019.

From 2020 to his return to Brose in July 2022, Stefan Krug was Senior Vice President Operations at ZF Friedrichshafen, where he was responsible for global production in the Car Chassis Technology Division.

Andreas Jagl

Andreas Jagl

Executive Vice President Interior

Andreas Jagl heads the Interior Business Division and oversees products such as front and rear seat structures, seat components and adjustment systems for the vehicle interior. He is also responsible for the East Asian market.

Andreas Jagl studied mechanical engineering at the Higher Federal Technical College in Saalfelden/Austria and has worked in the automotive industry since 1992. His leadership roles in Europe and the US included vehicle manufacturer Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke along with automotive suppliers such as Johnson Controls, Polytec Group and Adient. Before joining Brose, Jagl was General Manager of Yanfeng Adient Seating.

Raymond Mutz

Executive Vice President Drives

Raymond Mutz heads up the Drives Business Division, which includes products such as the electric air conditioning compressor along with solutions for thermal management, the drive train, chassis, brakes and steering systems. He is also responsible for e-bike drives and systems.

Raymond Mutz studied business administration at the Würzburg University of Applied Sciences and has worked for Brose since 2006. He headed up Purchasing Mechatronics in North America and took over leadership responsibilities in the Drives Division. He switched positions to head up Controlling Brose Group in 2015. Raymond Mutz had been responsible for the electric air conditioning compressor product unit from 2018 before he took over the Drives Business Division.

Christof Vollkommer

Christof Vollkommer

Executive Vice President Exterior

Christof Vollkommer is head of the Exterior Business Division and products such as door modules and access and closure systems. He is also responsible for the Brazil and India markets in this role.

Christof Vollkommer began his career in 1983 with apprenticeship training and specialization as an industrial fitter and master mechanical engineering technician at Brose. He was a test engineer and project manager and was responsible for Test Door Systems in Detroit/USA. As a product unit manager he was responsible for liftgate systems, side door drives and most recently access and closure systems. In addition, Vollkommer was deputy to the Vice President of the Exterior Business Division from 2017 to 2019.
