- Lead / Coach Brose Warranty Engineers and Plant Quality Engineers in proper 8D techniques and completion of project work within the customers’ timing. Main focus will be on the seat projects and all BMW products
- Work with the Regional Problem-Solvers to approve/certify each warranty engineer in PMP, APPS and/or DMAIC Principles with the correct use and application of all project tools.
- Maintain a project list of all QC2 (Warranty 8Ds) in the NA Region showing the status of all open initiatives.
- Drive PMP Sustainability within the warranty organization and ensure they execute their roles and responsibilities as defined by the Problem-Solving Competency Model.
- Ensure all warranty engineers required to be a certified problem solver are completing project work using the appropriate reporting format.
- Champion the completion of all systemic lessons learned and read across to prevent problem recurrence
- Provide plant and corporate support on customer calls regarding warranty issues to ensure problem-solving confidence is communicated effectively.
- Support manufacturing plants and customers to resolve/prevent quality concerns for all Brose Products.
- Work with the regional problem-solving team to modify PMP, E-FAST, and APPS training material, as required.
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years automotive/engineering/quality experience
- Willing to travel at least 20%
