• Support Project Managers and Engineers with daily tasks
• Assist in the technical responsibility for the design of a seat structure
• Communicate with customer team members and central functions to achieve specific tasks
• Support logistics of acquiring and modifying parts for various testing procedures
• Assist in the creation of Base DFMEA
• Support North American production plant with ongoing engineering issues
• Manage design and lead drawing change management
• Create and manage tracking files
• Monitor and track supplier development
• Support in the evaluation and implementation of cost-saving measures to improve project profitability (RACE measures)
Your Profile
• Start Date – This position is planned to start April 1, 2025
• Flexible Schedule (in office at Auburn Hills location 3 days a week – remote option 1 day)
• Must be currently attending a college or university
• Able to work 15-20 hours per week on average during the school year / flexible schedule
• Able to work 30-40 hours per week on average during the summer / flexible schedule
• Self-motivated, works well with teams, analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Mechanical Engineering majors preferred
• Prefer candidates that are graduating after December 2028
