Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Job Specification

  • Support all U.S. and Canadian supplier production facilities as first point of contact for quality issues
  • Generate trip reports when supplier site visits made, to communicate all necessary follow-up actions needed
  • Manage supplier corrective action responses and conduct follow-up verification
  • Supplier production plant visitation (scheduled and unscheduled)
  • Improve supplier performance
  • Improve channels of communication between Brose NA, Brose manufacturing sites and suppliers with regard to problem-solving and resolution
  • Initiate activities to create HIPPA privacy awareness within the organization and implement privacy policies and procedures

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Quality Engineering from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience is required
  • Basic knowledge of German Language preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Spanich Language preferred
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in supplier quality support in an automotive manufacturing facility i.e. Plastic Injection, Stamping, and Automotive sub-component assemblies. GD & T, SPC, Quality Certification (QE,SQE)
