Electronics play an increasingly important role, especially in vehicle development. Whether for reasons of comfort or safety: many components are unthinkable today without electronic components. This degree programme combines knowledge of the development of electronic components with modern IT technology for programming and controlling computer-aided development and manufacturing processes.

Your training and study contents

In the first three semesters, students learn the basics of mathematics, physics and informatics as well as essential electrical engineering principles. In addition, students deal with electronic components, measurement and circuit technology, digital technology, microcomputer technology, signals and systems, control technology, drives and networks. English and business administration round off the content profile.

This is followed by a 20-week practical semester. Subsequently, topics such as digital signal transmission, hardware engineering, HDL system design, wireless communication, communication engineering, electronics, signal processors and optionally informatics, automation technology or renewable energies are on the timetable.

- Place of study: Coburg University of Applied Sciences or FHWS Schweinfurt
- Practical part: Coburg, Bamberg, Hallstadt and possibly Würzburg
