Raymond Mutz now heads up the Drives business division of the Brose Group

Brose has appointed Raymond Mutz (52) Executive Vice President of the Drives business division effective 1 September 2019. He is taking over the position formerly held by Dr. Patrick Popp, who is leaving the company at his own request effective 30 September 2019.

Raymond Mutz has worked for the Brose Group since 2006 and has already performed a number of leadership roles. Alongside his management duties in the Brose Group, he was also responsible for building the product unit for drives and actuator technology. In his last position Mutz was responsible for the Product Unit Electric Air Conditioning Compressors, which will be led by Dr. Markus Schultz in the future.

Brose delivers over 200 million electric motors and drives every year, making it a market leader. Products from the Drives business division are used in HVAC units, engine cooling, in the drive train and in steering and braking systems. They also operate window regulators, seats, liftgates and side doors. The drives are available in a power range of 20 to 15,000 watts and voltages of 12 to 810 volts.
