Pro B: Coburg beats Ehingen with ease

BBC Coburg managed to record its eighth win of the season against EHINGEN URSPRING, even without its point guard Adrian Petkovic. The club from Coburg decided the game 90:78 in its favor and so notched up an important must-win with a view to the playoff places. The outstanding player for Coburg was centre Ben Diederichs, who not only notched up a double-double with 29 points and 13 rebounds, but also set a new personal career high. At the same time, point guard Nico Wenzl also had a strong game, scoring twelve points and dishing out eleven assists to help his big man notch up a double-double.
After the upcoming days off, Coburg's focus turns to Sunday in a week's time (2 February). The second edition of the Franconian-Thuringian derby is on the programme there. The BBC will host Erfurt Lions, who were beaten by a clear 102:86 in the first leg in the HUK-COBURG arena.
