Skywalker Young Guns: Noah Monteiro wins another round of the Portuguese karting championship

Skywalker Young Guns driver Noah Monteiro has been victorious in the Portuguese karting championship once again, this time in the penultimate round of the Youth category in Braga last weekend. This win sees him consolidate his lead in the championship before the series finale, which will take place in a month’s time.

Tiago Monteiro’s son finished 3rd and 4th in the qualifying heats last Saturday, then, in the pre-final the following day, he finished 7th. However, he left nothing to chance in the final, gaining six places, setting the fastest lap of the race and crossing the finish line 66 thousandths ahead of second place.

This victory represents a remarkable result in the career of the young Portuguese driver who emphasizes: “I am always very happy when I win, especially when the victory was difficult to achieve! The season so far has gone very well in the Youth category and I hope I can be crowned champion at the end of the year”.

The next, and final, round of the championship will take place on November 14th and 15th in Baltar.
