Round two of the Portuguese Karting Championship

The second round of the Portuguese Karting Championship will see the Skywalker Young Guns and its seven drivers, Adrian Malheiro, Mariana Machado, João Gouveia, Rodrigo Seabra, Noah Monteiro, Lourenço Monteiro and Zdenek Chovanec in action this weekend, the 26th and 27th of May.

There are three drivers in the cadet category. João Gouveia, who is fourth in the championship standings, Noah Monteiro, who is sixth and Rodrigo Seabra in 12th. Adrian Malheiro occupies second place among the young drivers. Zdenek Chovanec is fourth in the Junior category with Mariana Machado ninth. Meanwhile, Lourenço Monteiro in the X30 occupies fifth position.

All drivers expect to be successful this weekend, as does Skywalker CEO, Tiago Monteiro. "We are going into the second race of the Championship and it is a great pleasure to see the dedication and professionalism of all these young drivers,” he said. “The mission of Skywalker Young Guns is to help them progress. Everyone has already proven their abilities and I have no doubt that they will continue to evolve. Along the way we will accompany them and help in any way we can. I'm sure that this will be another great weekend for all of them."
