Struff beat world number twelve Cameron Norrie 7:6 (6), 3:6, 6:2 in Innsbruck on Tuesday. The doubles team of Krawietz/Pütz won 7-6 (12-10), 7-6 (7-5) against Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski. Peter Gojowczyk had no chance in the opening match, losing 2-6, 1-6 to Daniel Evans.
