Application Software Developer C, C++ Electronics and Sensors (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Conception of the system design and the software architecture incl. technical consulting of the customer (functional partitioning) as well as processing of interface specifications (hardware-software-interface-specification)
  • Implementation of the application software by hardware-related programming of complex customer-relevant functions according to specification in compliance with programming guidelines
  • Verification of complex functionality by module and integration tests as well as commissioning of sample stands at the customer's site (e.g. by participating in vehicle tests)
  • Independent execution of configuration and build management as well as processing and evaluation of software changes
  • Creation and review of software documentation (e.g. manual) as well as technical support of adjacent departments (manufacturing, testing...)
  • Coordination (planning, scheduling, action tracking) of all software activities in the customer project in coordination with the project manager
  • Cross-project further development and maintenance of technically demanding application-related standard software modules to create reusability

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, IT, embedded systems, automotive software engineering, alternatively a specialized advanced training and several years of professional experience in the relevant environment
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of software development
  • Sound knowledge of the high-level languages C, C++ as well as software design and software development processes
  • Knowledge of automotive electronics and networking as well as mechatronic systems desirable
  • Good German and English skills
