Your tasks

preparation and management of annual price and contract negotiations with own responsibility for results and conclusion of contracts in accordance with the specified negotiating scope
implementation of the specified material group strategy for the assigned material groups in defined procurement regions in coordination with the line manager
creating a Europe-wide supplier strategy based on the defined material group strategy as specified by the line manager and the Global Lead Buyer
assumption of tasks and responsibility within the global raw materials team for steel and aluminum and resins
creating, sending and evaluating inquiries based on Brose purchasing guidelines, possibly given planning data and technical specifications in defined procurement regions in coordination with the specialist function and the supervisor
summarizing bundled Brose requirements on the basis of specified, verified planning data in group framework agreements
supplier responsibility within the global raw material team/material pool team in coordination with the experts and the Global Lead Buyer

Your Profile

studies in technical or economic sciences, or business and technical apprenticeship with further professional experience
2-5 years of professional experience (preferably in steel/plastic purchasing)
good knowledge of negotiation and contract law an advantage
experience in the automotive industry an advantage
fluent English language skills
knowledge of German language an advantage
