Customs and Foreign Trade Analyst

Your tasks

  • Compliance with legal customs and foreign economic regulations within the Brose Group, as well as the enforcement of the provisions of international export control.
  • Implementing the national WTN (goods tariff numbers), and coordinating it with central Logistics regarding the usability within our worldwide database.
  • Implement the relevant national preferential agreements in relationship with central Logistics. Maintaining the global preference system (goods origin and preference system) in cooperation with OEM and suppliers.
  • Consideration of customs and external economic perspectives for imports from the series, as well as for relocations (relationship customs duties and external economic barriers).
  • Ensuring reasonable plant investment reporting/ forecasting/ planning.
  • Communication with Suppliers & Hauliers to maintain accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Complete preparation of all required import- and export processes with our own global customs and foreign trade system.

Your Profile

  • HNC Level / Degree in International Trade.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in Customs & Foreign Trade.
  • Preference for use of Chief / MIC system.
  • Strong IT data entry and SAP skills, able to use customer WEB portals as necessary.
  • Be able to multitask and support other departments.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
