Your Job Specification

  • Develop the short-, middle- and long-term planning for responsible customers regarding acquisition target, sales volume, turnover and profit. Control goal performance and take counter-measures in case of planning variances
  • Plans and achieves project goals in relation to capacity, cost, deadlines, and profitability; Maintains profit goal at defined project target from SOP to closure in cooperation with regional and global business division
  • Plans, coordinates, and realizes all series production as it relates to engineering changes, cost optimization, R.A.C.E and local customer support
  • Coordinates production targets with purchasing, production, industrial engineering, quality in order to achieve cost and time targets as well as customer satisfaction
  • Leads and develops a multi-functional team consisting of project management, sales, engineering, industrial engineering and quality, assurance and further development of highly qualified staff
  • Develops and maintains long lasting and trusting relationships with local customers to stabilize customer relations and build up efficient means of communication within Region
  • Interfaces and supports the plant in all aspects of series support, holds regular meetings with the plant to secure set goals
  • Establishment and maintenance of long-term business relationships with decision makers in all relevant functions from all hierarchies of customers in North China
  • Tracking and influencing of customer goals and strategies in development, purchasing and marketing
  • Advertising Brose image and competence in customers by means of multiple specific events and activities, generating and distributing customer specific information (organization, vehicle cycle planning etc.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent from four-year college or university
  • 6-8 related working experience
  • Experienced within leading and managing employees, includes staffing, decision making, facilitating and process improvement; takes responsibility for subordinates’ activities; makes oneself available to employees; provides regular performance feedback; develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth; solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external); fosters qualify focus in others; improves processes, products, and services; continually works to improve own leadership qualification
  • Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals
  • Strategic Thinking - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths & weaknesses; Analyzes market and competition; Identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts strategy to changing conditions.
  • Motivation - Sets and achieves challenging goals; Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; Measures self against standard of excellence; Takes calculated risks to accomplish goals
  • Extensive knowledge of Brose products and customer requirements
  • Experienced in automotive industry (project management, sales, and product development)
