Logistics Director

Your tasks

  • Optimize Logistics and Material Flow: Drive continuous improvements in both internal and external logistical supply chain processes to maximize efficiency and minimize disruptions
  • Supply chain management: Manage supply chain end to end from customer requirements to supplier fulfillment
  • Legal requirements: Comply with legal requirements for free trade zone administration and operation
  • Internal Logistics: Integrate and develop high automation in logistic processes (automatic warehouses)
  • IT Integration: Improve the connection between material flow and IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless plant operations and uninterrupted production
  • Cost Management: Lead negotiations with internal purchasing teams and suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reductions in logistics and supply chain operations
  • Team Leadership: Motivate, guide, and support staff within your team, ensuring clarity in responsibilities and facilitating effective execution. Implement HR measures as necessary to maintain a high-performing workforce
  • Budget Planning & Monitoring: Prepare and present an annual budget, including personnel planning, for your area of responsibility. Regularly monitor budget performance and take corrective action as needed to address any deviations
  • Team Development: Manage and oversee material schedulers in the assembly team by setting clear targets, tracking progress, conducting evaluations, and offering support to ensure team success

Your Profile

  • A university degree
  • Proven experience in logistics, material flow optimization, and supply chain management, preferably in electronics production
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Experience with budget planning, cost management, and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with IT systems in logistics and manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Fluent English language skills
