Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking for a Maintenance Technician who will ensure the technical availability of production machinery and facilities by avoiding and timely repair of breakdowns in a quality and cost conscientious way that supports the companys objectives. This role that requires a wide range of skills to deliver and drive lean improvements through great engagement with our talented people.Your tasks
- Maintain machinery in an orderly condition according to the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedule.
- Repair first line to fix to enable production to continue.
- Work with machine downtime (OEE) data to identify and implement improvements for increased uptime and collaborate with production teams.
- Minimise the costs of maintenance by optimising the use of resources and implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in the improvements of machine operation, production process, standards and company procedures.
- Engage in various project activities related to machinery upgrades, installations, and modifications.
- Provide technicial advice when required.
- Mentoring of apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practice to develop their skills.
Your Profile
- ONC/ HNC or Equivalent with Electronics/ Electrical or Engineering background
- 3-5 work experience in similar role
- Understanding of Production requirements, Siemens and TIA PLC programs
- To communicate effectively at all levels
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Able to travel through Brose group as required
