Material Planner

Your tasks

  • Plan and define lean and efficient flows of raw and productive materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and warehouses and between storage locations and destinations to and within Brose New Boston Plant (NBO). Plan high volume production of mechatronic systems and schedule delivery of finished mechatronics systems to Brose and Tier I manufacturing plants and OEM vehicle maker vehicle assembly plants in line with Just in Time/Just in Sequence inventory review, logistics, and supply chain management requirements. Assure delivery to plant of raw and productive materials including plastics, aluminum/steel metals, HV tubes, rubber, lubricants, rails, motors, electronic control units (ECUs), wiring harnesses, carrier plates, for seat adjuster systems and door modules from suppliers to delivery to plant for series and service production, using SAP Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) and Quality Management (QM) modules. Minimize component and material scrap and ensure smooth engineering changes.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related.
  • Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer, Planner, or related, assuring delivery to plant of raw and productive materials including aluminum/steel metals, rubber, electronic control units (ECUs), wiring harnesses, for series production, using SAP Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, or related.
