Material Planner

Material Planner

  • Proceed customer call-offs with respective deadlines and quantities
  • Plan, manage and guarantee the supply chain flow from supplier to customer (customer calls, orders, order confirmations, timelines, inventory sheets)
  • Manage supply chain stock level; independently introduce measures in cases of deviations and set priorities. Review potential inventory backlogs and avoid the use of premium freight for inbound and outbound materials
  • Control and follow-up relevant tasks that are listed in Brose change management system (plan switch-over new materials, minimize scrap level of obsolete materials, ..)
  • Collaborate with logistics planners before and during project SOP to review and ensure the data quality of inbound logistics information (supplier contact info, supplier MOQ, central purchasing agreement,..) and outbound logistics info (customer contact info, delivery incoterm, packaging concept,..).
  • Identify and realize cost-savings potentials within job scope
  • Responsible for optimized coordination efforts of external logistics service providers for Brose
  • Tasks that are for the benefit of the Brose Gua operation assigned by disciplinary/job-related supervisor. These tasks could be cross functional. Check the logistics information and stock accuracy, including stock gain or loss, scrapping etc to ensure the customer requirement met.

Your Profile

  • Good knowledge of scheduling methods and principles
  • SAP R/3 experience or other ERP systems
  • Familiar with importing/ exporting process (customs duty, HS-code, ..)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of business administration process
