Production Manager

Your tasks

  • Maintain customer satisfaction and prevent Quality issues
  • Maintain and improve process-oriented quality systems
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality system and tracking procedures
  • Maintain all required activities for health, safety and environmental conditions related to quality
  • Regular Follow-up of Quality concerns and tracking of corrective actions
  • Carry out coordination talks with suppliers in order to improve quality
  • Lead, support and motivate staff in own sphere of responsibility and implement all relevant HR measures
  • Draw up annual budget planning (incl. personnel planning) for own sphere of responsibility and forward planned figures to own supervisor for approval. Monitor budget development and implement counter-measures in the event of actual/planned deviations
  • Job-related management of QE’s, receiving inspectors, and CMM operator through target agreements, monitoring of progress, job-related evaluation and support, if required
  • Involve supervisors, QE’s, and receiving inspectors in the event of critical quality backlogs which can no longer be dealt with using normal means
  • Liaison with customer in regards to concerns
  • Support and maintain worldwide Brose quality and environmental standards
  • Lead of ARGUS within the plant

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in the area of quality, ideally at least 3 years in a quality-manager-position in the automotive industry and one year as a Quality specialist.

    Knowledge of appropriate procedures for planning and optimizing quality processes
  • Project experience in quality; SAP knowledge advantageous; customer interaction, superior knowledge with quality systems and problem solving, counter measures of management and leadership of personnel.
