Supplier developer - Kopřivnice OR Ostrava (m/f)

Brose has been present in the Czech Republic since 2003 with plants in Kopřivnice and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. With approximately 3,500 people in production, product development and administration, Brose CZ is currently the largest production facility of Brose Group.

Your tasks

  • stabilization and continuous optimalization of the processes at Brose Suppliers aiming to increase their performance and competitiveness
  • plan and lead supplier workshops / projects to find root-causes and set-up improvement actions. Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned approach
  • involvement and coordination of different internal/external functions in order to identify root-causes and implement improvements at Suppliers, sometimes on site
  • supporting the commodity purchasing to search and evaluate potential suppliers by using defined methods (self-assessment, first visit, co-audit…)
  • supporting the onboarding process by bringing the new suppliers up to Brose Standards
  • support new suppliers with their first serial projects (safe launch)
  • monitor quality/logistic performance of serial suppliers and define and follow-up needed action plans
  • support of highly escalated crisis situations with suppliers

Your profile

  • university degree and/or technical qualification
  • at least 7 years professional experience in purchasing, quality and/or production (automotive preferred)
  • excellent English is a must, German language is a big advantage
  • solid know-how of the entire manufacturing process chain (quality, production, logistics, basic financials)
  • negotiation, analytical and solid project management skills
  • practical experience with project quality management methods (APQP, PFMEA, Feasibility studies, PPAP)
  • solid know-how of problem-solving methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke)
  • good orientation in ISO, IATF and VDA norms and standards (VDA auditor is an advantage)
  • willingness to frequent travel in Europe
