Tooling Engineer

Your Job Specification

  • Supports production by maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting of plastic injection molds, according to Brose standards
  • Optimize tools through editing and processing sequence of tool in a most cost-effective way; adheres to quality, safety and scheduling standards
  • Ensure the quality of maintenance, repair and manufactured items
  • Independently performing maintenance and tool repair
  • Support efforts in correction and optimization of tools, both locally and internationally
  • Visit suppliers to review tool construction and mold trials
  • Improve tools independently resulting in cost reduction and improved service interval
  • Responsible for keeping records on all tool modification and maintenance history
  • Spare parts management

Your Profile

  • University degree on Tooling design and manufacturing Mechanical Engineering or Similar
  • Experience and practice on tooling design and building process
  • Would be better to have experience in tooling maintenance
  • Good communication skills and attitude for team work
  • Be able to use at least one of the floowing softwares UG, Catia, Autotorm Pamstamp
  • Business fluent English or German Language skills
