Brose at Interauto Moscow 2012
International automotive supplier Brose will be showcasing its expertise in door, closure and seat systems and electric motors at the Interauto Moscow from August 28 to 30, 2012.
The Brose Group opened its Russian office in 2007 with the aim of establishing long-term, successful partnerships with local and international car manufacturers in this growth market. Its strategy has paid off and in 2010, car manufacturer AvtoVaz placed a contract for the production of window regulators with the German Brose Group. This prompted Brose to start operating a plant in Togliatti in February 2012.
Some 70 employees in Togliatti are currently producing around two million manual and electric window regulators for Lada each year. More projects for local and international car manufacturers are due to start in 2013, making Brose the market leader for window regulators in Russia. There are plans to localize the entire product portfolio here in the long term.
