Four Brose plants receive General Motors award
US car manufacturer General Motors has presented awards to the Brose plants in Ostrava (Czech Republic), Würzburg (Germany), Santa Margarida (Spain) and Quéretaro-Benito Juárez (Mexico) for the excellent quality standards they achieved in 2013/2014. The award for the Quéretaro-Benito Juárez plant will be presented on October 23 in Mexico City.
“We know that maintaining a focus on the details to achieve perfection each day is not an easy task, So much so that only a fraction of our suppliers have earned this special recognition,” said Sheri Hickok, Executive Director Global Supplier Quality General Motors, paying tribute to the achievements of the winning companies. “You are a critical part of the GM team, helping ensure the customer is delighted with their product purchase and we want to recognize and thank you for that.”
Mechatronics specialist Brose strives to deliver the same high quality at all its locations and this honor underscores its success. “We will continue to scrutinize our products and processes and to look for potential for improvement to help our customers achieve their objectives,” says Bernd Schieweck, Vice President Quality Brose Group. “The GM award is an incentive for us to keep up our performance and to improve still further.”
