Ulrich Schrickel is Brose’s new Executive Vice President Door
Ulrich Schrickel (53) will head up the global activities in the Door business division of the Brose Group effective 1 August 2019. The division located Hallstadt, Bamberg generated 3.2 billion euros in sales last year – more than half of group turnover and employs more than 11,000 people worldwide. Ulrich Schrickel is succeeding Kurt Sauernheimer (59), who has been responsible for the position for 20 years and has also been the CEO of the Brose Group since 2018.
Ulrich Schrickel studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and began his career in 1994 at Robert Bosch GmbH. He held a number of management positions in production abroad and was responsible for central quality management at Bosch. Schrickel headed the Business Unit Transmission Control and most recently held the position Executive Vice President at Automotive Electronics.
