DTM: Engelhart heads to Zandvoort with a top 10 finish behind him

From the most easterly circuit on the DTM calendar, Christian Engelhart heads straight to the westernmost point of the touring car series. The driver from Starnberg travels to the race weekend in Zandvoort with another top 10 finish in his luggage.
The conditions in the Lausitz were good preparation for the experienced Lamborghini works driver. Christian Engelhart was once again able to demonstrate his skills in wet conditions - and once again finished in the top ten for his Grasser Racing Team.
“It was a crazy weekend. We had good pace in the first race in Lausitz, but luck just wasn't on our side at the end. There was definitely much more possible. We made the right decision with the timing of the pit stop and were doing very well. We still scored good points with ninth place.”
With this result in the bag, the team now heads to the North Sea coast west of Amsterdam. Zandvoort, a Formula 1 race track that has always been part of the DTM, has its own challenges: the famous Tarzan bump in turn 1, the two banked turns and above all: wind and sand.
“It will be challenging, but I have enough experience and good memories of the track. It's important that we do a good job as a team again.”Qualifying will start in the dunes of the North Sea on Friday. The race times will also differ from the normal schedule. Saturday will start at 1.30 pm. On Sunday, the race will start at 4.30 pm.
